Tax Accountant Springfield, Area Responsibilities for Senior Tax Accountant: ? Preparation of individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and tax-exempt entity tax returns ? Preparation and/or review of tax projections, sales tax returns, and other tax forms ? Assist Partners with tax audits including responding to tax notices, corresponding with auditors, and organizing client files ? Tax research related to more complex tax situations and/or changes in tax law ? Communicate directly with clients to serve specific needs and identify potential value-added solutions ? Work directly with partners and colleagues to maximize firm efficiency and act as an internal resource based on knowledge and experience Qualifications for Senior Tax Accountant: ? 1-3 years of tax preparation experience, including management of individual, fiduciary, and business clients ? CPA License preferred ? Bachelor\'s degree in accounting required, Master\'s preferred ? Proficiency in ProSystem Tax or Axcess Tax ? Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online ? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel ? Excellent written and oral communication skills\'
