BH Practice Manager Job Category: Management Requisition Number: BHPRA001041 Full-Time On-site Springfield, MA 01103, USA Job Details Description Reports to: Vice President of Patient Operation and Experience Salary/Status: Exempt Department: Behavioral Health Minimum Requirements: 1. Bachelor\'s Degree in relevant field 2. Must work well within a multidisciplinary team and have excellent interpersonal, computer and personnel management skills. 3. Willing and able to learn from and teach others. 4. Computer skills including PowerPoint, word, excel and OCHIN/EPIC 5. Bilingual Preferred 6. Commitment to the under-served community strongly preferred. 7. Excellent interpersonal skills required for working with patients and staff. 8. Ability to demonstrate professionalism and respect; regard for patient privacy is essential. 9. Good oral and written communication skills. 10. Familiarity with patient tracking systems, data collections and data entry. 11. Organizational skills a must. 12. Ability to work independently and with a team. 13. Flexibility to work at different service locations and outside of traditional hours Principle Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Provides behavioral and MAT provider scheduling management oversight and develops and implements improvement initiatives within the front office operations to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care of the practices. 2. Collaboration with the leadership, providers, support staff, to develop, implement and monitor program-specific action plans and accountabilities that align practice goals with Caring Health Center mission and strategic plans. 3. Collaborates and communicates regularly in order to foster a collaborative, team-based practice, and a positive environment for staff, providers and patients. 4. Oversees all scheduling functions related to behavioral health providers alongside the chief of behavioral health, proactively ensuring coverage for absences, vacations and illness. 5. Analyzes productivity and allocation of staff time and recommends changes in systems to increase efficiency and productivity. 6. Conducts effective, accurate and timely performance appraisals of staff. 7. Hiring, developing and coaching staff and instituting policies and procedures 8. Is a proponent of the Improvement process; Initiates and evaluates strategies which improve patient care and departmental services; Participates in Health Center-wide quality assurance activities as requested. Assesses sites needs and recommends changes as needed. 9. Fosters a positive work environment by monitoring job satisfaction and identifying and supporting staff education and development. 10. Conducts and facilitates various meetings and interactions to ensure health center effectiveness. Participates in all scheduled departmental meetings and other center-wide meetings as requested. 11. Provide leadership for employees to experience training. 12. Flexibility in work schedule and/or assignments to meet time requirements of the position. 13. Performs all and any additional duties as assigned. Working Conditions: 1. This position may require the ability to work long and arduous hours. 2. This position requires the ability to use a computer workstation, viewing a CRT.
