The Director for CSS NA Service Solutions provides leadership and specialist knowledge in the management of teams developing detailed enablement solutions that aid Oracle’s customers in their journey to the Cloud and ongoing adoption within the Cloud.
The Service Solutions Director provides leadership and specialist knowledge in the management of teams developing detailed enablement solutions that aid Oracle’s customers in their journey to the Cloud and ongoing adoption within the Cloud. The role will direct and manage Oracle University Cloud Sales Consulting resources throughout the sales life cycle and engage and/or lead in strategic opportunities. The role will also support the Customer’s understanding of Oracle Cloud University’s learning and enablement solutions for Oracle’s SaaS and PaaS offerings, while providing thought leadership, support and engagement throughout the entire sales cycle. This role focuses on discovery, collaborative solutions development, demo, pricing, and assistance with contract discussions to Oracle’s customers who will benefit from Oracle Guided Learning and other Oracle University service offerings. Oracle Guided Learning significantly accelerates Oracle Cloud adoption (http://blogs.oracle.com/oracleuniversity/oracle-guided-learning-significantly-accelerates-cloud-saas-adoption?sc=?sc=OUNV180523P00046) by making it simple for customers to immediately bring their users up to speed with SaaS processes across time zones, languages, and roles in a predictable and measurable manner. What is the Customer Success Services NA Service Solution Director Role:
As an Oracle University Director for CSS NA Service Solutions, you will provide functional leadership to the Education Sales Consulting teams in the development and implementation of customer cloud learning solutions. You will participate in account planning and strategy development and collaborate with the Oracle University Product and Services groups to support the Education go-to-market, demos, delivery and renewal teams. The CSS NA Services Solution Director will be required to:
Lead a team of Solution Architects, with varied experience and functional skills
Assist with onboarding and upskilling Education Solution Architects
Ensure that Oracle operational and sales policies are followed
Articulate Oracle University’s Cloud enablement approach and methodology
Validate and support the presentation of learning and enablement solutions for Oracle’s Cloud offerings.
Review and support the delivery of sales presentations and demonstrations
Develop and maintain high quality, professional relationships with Customers as well as the internal Sales Management and Oracle University teams.
Coach the Solution Architects
Assist with operationalizing Service Solution assets and knowledge to aid with the cross-team support

What you'll do:
Responsible for Service Solution business results, costs, forecasting and people management. Manages tasks and projects, as defined by senior management, to meet business targets.
Manages subordinates to meet business targets and position leading practice solutions as set by senior management.
Shared responsibility for sales strategy with the Sales Managers
Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts when required.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Oracle University’s Cloud (SaaS/PaaS) solutions.
Manages presentations, RFP/RFI’s responses, pricing, contracts and customer visits as directed.
Actively mentors team members of the group.
Communicates information proactively with the Solution Architects across organization
Provide metrics on deals worked, success stories, and lessons learned.
Pursue creative approaches, when appropriate, to resolve problems and maximize opportunities
Conduct Business Value Analyses to justify sales and costs, as required
Driven, and Able to work both individually and in a team setting
Understand how to build a message around the impact of the technology change on a customer’s entire organization.
Facilitation of customer Oracle University offerings understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,800 to $232,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 65/35.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
