Essential Functions
- Subject to management approval, serves as the Midrange Systems Operations Manager for the Department of Innovation & Technology
- Evaluates, implements, and communicates the organizations existing and future policies, procedures and security measures including, but not limited to, procurement, installation, configuration, and support of computing and technology equipment used directly by state personnel
- Manages data collection and reporting on technical environment Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics for systems administration, support operations, and data center operations
- Serves as full-line supervisor
- Assists the Division Manager in technical program budget preparation and assists in controlling appropriation of technology expenditures
- Leads and directs the evolution and development of the Midrange Systems infrastructure, data storage, software management/distribution and tools team
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
