Job Title: CNC Machinist Trainee
Job Description
Join our team as a Machinist Trainee with a starting rate of $18 per hour. We offer a comprehensive training program where you will learn to set up and operate CNC Machines, manual mills, and lathes under close supervision. This position includes comprehensive onboarding, focusing on safety and operational efficiency.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Springfield, Illinois.
Work Environment
Our facility operates multiple shifts including 1st (6 AM - 4:30 PM, Mon-Thurs), 2nd (7:30 PM - 6 AM, Mon-Thurs), Day Weekend shift (6 AM - 6:30 PM, work 36 hours, get paid for 40), and Night Weekend shift (6 PM - 6:30 AM, work 36 hours, get paid for 40). Some overtime is required with at least 24-hour notice. Our large machine shop hosts approximately 165 employees across multiple buildings, working with large equipment and gear cutting for major suppliers.
