Robert Half is partnering with a construction company who has been in business for over 60 years! Our client is looking for a Sr. Accountant due to growth and offers an amazing culture and GREAT work/life balance (40-hour work week).
Responsibilities:
Generate accurate and timely Profit & Loss statements to reflect the financial performance of the company
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data
Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Assist with the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning
Maintain and update records of capital assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation calculations
Prepares and submits annual 1099 forms
Processes ACH transactions for payments and transfers
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
A minimum of 3 years relayed accounting experience in construction or property management
Yardi experience highly preferred
