Robert Half Test Center Administrator in Spring Valley, New York
Description We are in search of a Test Center Administrator to join our team based in Spring Valley, New York, United States. Your key role will be to oversee the operation of a testing site, ensure the smooth running of web-based tests and maintain the integrity of the testing process. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the check-in process, ensuring all candidates have valid identification and are prepared for the test.
• Carry out regular security checks, ensuring that candidates do not have any unauthorized materials during the test.
• Monitor the testing site regularly to prevent cheating and maintain the integrity of the tests.
• Assist candidates with starting and stopping tests using specific system apps.
• Respond to emails and other queries related to the testing process.
• Perform light office work, including processing test results and maintaining records.
• Ensure the effective use of Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to perform administrative tasks.
• Demonstrating customer service skills to provide assistance and respond to inquiries.
• Utilize the 'About Time' software for efficient time management and billing functions.
• Perform clerical duties and correspondences as necessary to support the testing process. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
• Demonstrable knowledge of office functions and administrative procedures
• Familiarity with time management software, preferably 'About Time'
• Experience in handling billing functions
• Ability to perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
• Excellent written communication skills for managing correspondence
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection laws
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
