Description
The Senior Program Manager will work under the CISO/Director of Cyber Security and will pick up where the previous program manager left off on driving the organization towards NIST Compliance. This role plays a significate role in managing the IT side within the NIST 800-171 framework. The framework is already in place and would need help controlling the 3 environments they currently have. The Program Manager would need to be okay with putting out fires to get organized day to day. The need is to have someone who can manage a ton of complexity, has organizational agility and political acumen, while still being able to ingest, comprehend, consolidate, report on, and drive 30 projects simultaneously while working with a new PMO and program managers over different downstream programs. Having someone who has that kind of horsepower is what they're looking for.
Responsible for activities related to a project team that may be formed in association with the duration of the project.
Individual responsible for the project under the direction of an IMS Manager as appropriate and in accordance with
established policies and procedures. Provide support to other parts of the business in areas such as project development
and training. Lead major change efforts within IMS and across the enterprise.
Job Duties/Roles
Acts as primary liaison between IMS, the functional staff and stakeholders on a project.
Plans, schedules and coordinates various phases of work.
Monitors progress of assigned projects, for both IMS and stakeholders.
Acts as a professional specialist for the project in the application of related requirements, concepts, principles and
processes.
- Remains knowledgeable of new methods and developments affecting the technical scope of assigned
responsibilities and makes recommendations for process changes. Recommends new approaches to problems
encountered. Recommends changes in methods, procedures or design where necessary.
Prepares technically accurate and timely reports related to the project.
Monitors the project to ensure maintenance of quality, content, consistency and continuity of work performed.
Stays actively informed concerning technical, business and management developments affecting present and
potential customers and communicates this information promptly to the appropriate senior level managers.
Maintains files in an orderly and up-to-date manner in area of responsibility.
Coaches, motivates, mentors and directs assigned resources to desired results.
Identifies and manages project risks and issues.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $125.00
