Strike Entry Level Accounts Receivable Clerk in Spring, Texas
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will work closely with field and corporate personnel to compile data for the preparation and creation of invoices. Additional duties include supporting other team members as required.
Primary Job Function:
Receive and review Strike Field Tickets for accuracy and missing data.
Reads computer files or gathers records such as purchase orders, sales tickets, and charge slips to compile needed data.
Communicates with clerks and/or coordinators to ensure payroll accuracy.
Enters information into computer or computes amounts due.
Prepares invoices, listing items sold, amounts due, credit terms, and dates of shipment.
Prepares credit memorandums to indicate returned or incorrectly billed merchandise.
Communicates with Project Managers to confirm ticket and billing accuracy.
Submits invoices to clients.
Any other duties as required.
Experience:
Previous accounting clerk or A/R experience is preferred.
Experience reviewing and verifying a high-volume of data while ensuring accuracy.
Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook.
Exposure to other software programs and/or suites is preferred.
Education/Training:
Associates Degree or higher is preferred.
And/or 1-year previous relative experience.
Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
Exercises sound judgment, is well organized, with good listening, oral, and written communications skills in order to work successfully with diverse personnel and vendors.
Accuracy, timeliness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients, employees, and managers.
