Description
We are offering a short-term, 3-month contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in The Woodlands. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable team. Job duties include answering phones for the department, scanning invoices in preparation for processing, managing email and other clerical duties as assigned. The hours are 8-5, Monday-Friday. Primary Duties of Accounts Payable Clerk:
· Provide customer service to vendors and employees calling into the department. Transfer calls to the appropriate team member.
· Scan a high volume of invoices into ERP system to be processed for payment.
· Manage accounts payable inbox, answering employee and vendor emails and forwarding email to the correct team member as needed.
· Assist Accounts Payable Manager with a variety of projects when requested and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Familiar with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Minimum of one year of accounts payable experience.
Ability to utilize basic mathematical concepts.
Previous experience working with invoices and numerical data.
Accuracy, timeliness, and ability to work effectively with employees and managers.
Utilizes organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Displays tactful, mature and professional demeanor.
