DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will operate various types of automotive equipment including single chassis trucks and vans, passenger vans, and buses to complete various tasks both on and off facility grounds. Your duties will include: Transporting residents to local and long-distance destinations for medical appointments, treatments, transfers, and activities, Making local and long-distance pickup and delivery of materials, mail, supplies, drugs, and blood samples, Hauling materials used in construction, grounds or general maintenance work, Operating snow removal and cinder spreading equipment in inclement weather, as well as tractor-mounted grass and brush mowers, Performing minor repairs and maintenance to equipment, and Assisting with other tasks when not operating equipment, such as cleaning work areas and loading or unloading vehicles.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, flexible and rotating days, which includes working every other weekend. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months experience in the operation and maintenance of large vans, buses and single-chassis trucks with a gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds or more; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Special Requirement:

This position requires a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license. Additional Requirement:

You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require completion of a medical examination and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
