Job Description Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for our Spokane Office. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player, looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a dynamic and progressive firm. We are looking for someone who works effectively with all personality types, is interested in being a mentor to junior engineers, and who desires to grow professionally and stay involved in the activities and exciting trends in the industry. We work in tight-knit teams that support each other and are managed with a healthy work-life balance that is focused on development and caring for the whole person. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Qualifications A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field Master's Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred) Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) with Structural Engineer (SE) preferred. Seven to ten years of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures Experience with computer software programs and analysis systems (such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, RAM, Mathcad, Enercalc, ETABS, etc.) Design experience with various materials - steel and concrete; masonry, wood and light gauge (preferred) Knowledge and experience with the International Building Code (IBC) and US design standards Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills Experience and ability to maintain working relationships with clients Experience as a project manager (preferred) Experience working as part of a multi-discipline team (preferred) Expected annual salary$100,000-$115,000.
