Northwest Farm Credit Services Event Planner in Spokane, Washington

We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West. We are in search of an Event Planner II or Event Planner III to join our Learning and Development department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the VP, Learning Operations and is accountable for collaborating with others to plan and execute employee and customer events and coordinate event logistics. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period. Compensation Information The base salary range for this position is: Level II: $63,000 - $95,000; bonus at target is 10% of salary. Level III: $69,000 - $108,000; bonus at target is 10% of salary. Job Requirements Lead organization-wide scheduling, ensuring alignment to established AgWest event priority and hierarchy. Confirm key roles for events at AgWest (e.g. Executive Sponsor, Approver, Program Lead, etc.) and adjudicate event scheduling, time horizons and roles. Serve as primary contact for hotel and event venues across AgWest's territory, manage food/beverage agreements BEOs) and provide on-site event logistics support at events. Monitor events to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of problems; participate in post-event evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Partner with Learning Operations Analysts and VP, Board Secretary on venue specifications (including food/beverage and audio/visual). Manage relationship with vendors and third-party sourcing agencies as needed. Cultivate new relationships aligned with event objectives and company needs. Manage overnight event logistics including registration, hotel room reservations and assignments, transportation and food throughout event life cycle. Understand event budgets, monitory event expenditures and review invoices for accuracy and preparation for payment, maintain necessary records and billing history. Human Resource Leadership Provide proactive human resource leadership to promote high levels of employee engagement, customer service, teamwork and productivity Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace throughout the organization Ensure performance management actions are consistent across area of responsibility and aligned with organization expectations Promote talent management and succession planning to ensure adequate and effective staffing through employee transitions Communicate and model AgWest's commitment to employee and customer engagement; actively work with assigned staff to advance stewardship and community service initiatives. Perform all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and internal controls, and ensure assigned staff follow organization policies, procedures and internal controls.
