Providence St. Joseph Health Driver/Patient Transportation Coordinator - PACE/Elderplace in Spokane, Washington

Description The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited ElderPlace participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs. Providence PACE/ElderPlace is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible through clinics, home visits and more. Join our team to help empower elders in your community to live active, independent lives. Required qualifications: Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. Within 90 days of hire: Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses 5 years Driving experience Preferred qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. 2 years of Driving experience, which includes: Driving a large passenger van or small bus. 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs. 1 year of experience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
