Description Clinical Program Sedation Coordinator RN - Interventional Radiology, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, Spokane WA Under the direction of the Assistant Nurse Manager, the IGPC/Sedation Coordinator RN position will provide care coordination services to patients of all ages, families, physicians and staff. This position will review IGP orders, assess patient for required labs and sedation appropriateness (adults only). This position will obtain appropriate consult for IR orders to ensure correct modality. This role will function is a member of the interdisciplinary team in close collaboration with the radiologists, primary/acute care physicians and other units or departments in the hospital setting. Will serve as a resource for the inpatient unit nurses and physicians to ensure correct procedure preparation. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Shift Details: Part time, 32 hours per week, 8 - hour Day Shift Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Nursing or related field. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License 5 years Acute clinical nursing experience. 2 years Clinical nursing experience in sedation (minimal and moderate sedation, and circulating role in sedation) with Adults 2 years Radiology/Interventional Radiology Experience Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Current pediatric sedation experience in an acute care, outpatient sedation clinic or department setting. 2 years Demonstrated leadership or high level individual contributor experience.
