Spokane Valley & Indian Trail locations Split schedule working 4-5 days per week. This position is a mix of administrative work, as well as working as a tech on the dialysis floor. Schedule: Shifts can begin as early as 4am and closing shifts can end as late as 9pm. Shifts are scheduled well in advance and are 8-12 hours in length.Typically, our teammates work 3-4 days per week and are expected to work rotated Saturdays.We are closed on Sundays!An overview of the schedule will be shared during the interview process. DaVita has an open position for an Administrative Assistant in the hospital and outpatient settings, who is looking to provide administrative support to a Team while making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. In this support role you will ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices and purchase orders. You also will assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments. Dialysis is serious business-which is why Fun is encouraged! Let us help support you on your new journey. What you can expect: Direct Patient Care.Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment. Our PCTs care for up to 4 patients at a time. Technician Duties. To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles. Continuous Improvement:We are consistently looking for ways to improve processes for our patients and teammates as we aim to build the greatest health care community the world has ever seen. Building long-term relationshipswith your patients who are suffering from end stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
