ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING MANAGER

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electrical Engineering Manager in our Spindale, NC home office. Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications and experience
Reimbursement of a portion of relocation expenses for a highly qualified candidate willing to relocate
Education/Training
High School diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred
Relevant licenses or certifications preferred
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering for large commercial and/or industrial construction projects. Other relevant experience in project engineering, project management, project controls, pre-fabrication, or estimating will also be considered.
Specific Skills/Duties/Proficiencies
Read, interpret, and apply construction documents, drawings, designs, and schematics
Develop designs and specifications for components of the electrical scope of work on commercial and industrial construction projects
Identify and implement opportunities for engineered solutions to installation issues
Experience and proficiency in the use of pre-fabrication for electrical systems installations
Help drive the efficiency and productivity of electrical installations on commercial construction projects
Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, Microsoft Projects, Excel, Bluebeam, ProCore, and/or ConEst
Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and an ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
Effectively manage an 8-10 person engineering department and support its further growth
Additional Requirements and/or Expectations
Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
Must be willing and able to relocate and/or commute to our Spindale, NC office location
