Join Duininck and Experience: * Opportunities to Learn, Grow, and Advance * A Supportive Culture that Promotes Your Success * A Family-Owned and Operated Environment * Competitive Pay and Benefits * The Chance to Build Strong Communities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Safely operate the screed to level asphalt or concrete, ensuring specified surface quality and paving depth. * Read grade stakes and collaborate with grade checkers, lasers, or GPS to maintain accurate grading. * Communicate effectively with other crew members using hand signals and verbal communication to coordinate work and ensure safety. * Keep equipment clean and prepare it for transport on a flatbed when necessary. * Perform daily inspections and maintenance to ensure the machine is in safe, proper working order, including fluid checks and proper lubrication. * Notify mechanics when equipment requires maintenance or repair. * Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and safety at the job site. * Follow the Supervisor's instructions closely. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Understand basic screed mechanics. * CDL Class A commercial license required. * Comprehend and adhere to all safety regulations. * Follow Personal Protection Equipment requirements. * Maintain an unwavering focus on safety. * Knowledge of OSHA regulations. * Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Dakotas. Work Environment/Physical Demands: * Ability to walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit. * Work outside in all weather conditions. * Effectively handle lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. * Regularly work extended or overtime hours outdoors in various weather conditions at all project locations. * Travel is required.
