Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for labor relations and a proven track record in union negotiations? We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our clients and lead their labor relations efforts. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a positive work environment within our manufacturing facility.
As an HR Manager, you will handle all negotiations and draft comprehensive labor agreements, ensuring that both the company's and employees' interests are met. Working independently with minimal guidance, you will demonstrate strong decision-making skills, resolving labor issues and disputes efficiently to prevent disruptions to manufacturing. You will coordinate and lead labor contract negotiation activities for the facility, providing support for National Table Bargaining. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between plant management and union leadership, resolving issues related to labor agreements and established work rules and policies.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 7-10 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on union-related activities. Extensive experience in union negotiations and grievance handling is essential. Exceptional employee relations skills are required, with the ability to connect with employees on the manufacturing floor, fostering a strong and positive culture. Demonstrated negotiation experience and success in settling labor disputes are also necessary. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
If you are a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for labor relations, we want to hear from you. Join our team and help us maintain a harmonious and productive work environment.
