Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Same Day Surgery/PACU area
Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients
Requirements:
Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
IA RN license
BLS and ACLS are required
One year of Medical/Surgical or similar nursing experience preferred
Schedule: 2 full-time positions available!
72 hours a pay period - combination of 8 & 10 hr shifts
60 hours a pay period - 10 hour shifts
Self scheduling 6 week block
Paid on-call
The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
