Our PET Dairy plant has an immediate job opening for a fast paced and motivated shipping and receiving clerk to perform any combination of verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, comparing identifying information and counts, weights, or measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Additionally, our shipping and receiving clerks are responsible for ensuring proper storage, inventory and security of all product stocks, maintaining appropriate records, files, documentation and resolve routine problems along with following safe work practices.

PAY RATE: $19.50 per hour

SCHEDULE: 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / 8am - 4:30pm

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • 6 months related experience required.

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal.

  • Effective verbal and written communications skills

  • Must be able to sit for virtually the entire shift. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
