Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our clients team in Spartanburg, SC. This role is pivotal in shaping, coordinating, and enhancing the company's HR policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Manager will oversee comprehensive HR functions, including benefits administration, compensation management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and management of company HR policies and procedures.
Oversee training programs.
Manage the full hiring cycle.
Direct the wage and salary administration to promote fair and competitive compensation.
Administer employee benefits plans.
Handle unemployment claims.
Support department leaders with employee relations, disciplinary actions, attendance management, and terminations.
Coordinate safety training.
Stay current on HR best practices and changes in employment law.
Manage and optimize HR systems for efficient HR operations.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations to foster a safe and compliant work environment.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
HR Systems Expertise: Proficiency in using HR systems, including ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and HCM (Human Capital Management) platforms.
Benefits Administration: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience managing employee benefit programs.
Payroll Management: Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and time and attendance systems.
Onboarding and Orientation: Expertise in onboarding processes, conducting new hire orientations, and managing benefits paperwork.
Safety Administration: Familiarity with implementing and maintaining workplace safety programs.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Employee Relations: Proven experience in handling employee relations and conflict resolution.
Recruitment Skills: Comprehensive experience with hiring processes from job postings to final selection.
Certification: HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred but not mandatory.
