Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for Medical Oncology in Sparta, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our busy and expanding outpatient oncology practice in Sparta, New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a cohesive practice, located in the heart of Sparta. The practice is located in a multi-suite building where patients have access to the infusion suite, lab, and other medical practices. This position is full-time with a Monday-Friday schedule, shared at home call, and no weekends.

The primary role of the NP is to provide medical oncology patient care in an outpatient care setting, along with occasional inpatient care at Newton Medical Center. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and previous experience in oncology as a nurse practitioner.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey

  • ACLS and BLS required

  • Minimum of 2 years working in oncology as an NP

  • Must have excellent communication and computer skills

  • Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
