Purpose of Role
As a Distribution House Team Lead Mechanic, you will be responsible for leading the daily activities of the Mechanical Maintenance Department to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. This involves driving a safety culture and driving Under Armour’s Core Competencies.
Your Impact
Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports any unsafe working conditions or equipment.
Provide assistance in leading and directing the maintenance mechanics
Work with the Maintenance leadership to implement department strategy(s) and initiative in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensures the completion of the full life cycle of a work order including data entry, mechanical work parts, inventory tracking, coordination and communication with Distribution House Operations staff.
Performing routine preventative and troubleshooting maintenance to conveyor systems and related material handling equipment
Duties many include but are not limited to repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery requiring electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical and/or hydraulic attention.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
Excellent proven safety record
Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical blueprints, and PLC ladder logic
Able to operate and trained on all aerial equipment, such as boom lift, scissor lift, and forklift.
Computer Skills
PC experience; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Working knowledge of Maintenance Connection is a plus.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Knowledge of Warehouse Control Systems (WCS
Other Skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

$31.70 -$47.55
