Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Warehouse Management :
Oversee the operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution. Implement inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
Define logistic parameters both for direct and indirect materials according to production line features/constrains
Knowledge, development, and implementation of transport and distribution procedures to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and to achieve volume, timeliness, reliability, and safety standards
Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce aging material
Internal Logistics :
Oversee the movement, storage, and handling of materials within the factory
Analyze and optimize the internal logistic flows in order to reduce material handling cost and increase overall productivity
Planning and Procurement :
Lead the development and implementation of supply planning processes to ensure the timely availability of materials and products. Coordinate with production to align supply plans with demand forecasts
Develop and execute strategic plans for procurement, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of raw materials and components. Manage supplier relationships
Use reports and metrics which analyze opportunities for savings and improvements
Optimize logistic flow and implement most efficient material flows method in terms of manpower handling
Rolling forecast planning
Supply Chain Optimization :
- Continuously analyze and improve supply chain processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. Implement risk management protocols to ensure supply chain continuity.
Compliance and Safety :
- Ensure all operations comply with healthcare regulations and standards. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery for all materials.
Team Collaboration :
- Work closely with other departments, such as Quality and Operations, to ensure seamless operations and compliance with all requirements.
Budget Management :
- Prepare and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Storage System Management:
Overall control of logistics planning team. Responsible for ensuring production schedules are levelled and achievable and reliably match the supply of raw materials and components from external suppliers into the plant;
Responsible of daily warehouse performance like inbound quota, outbound quota, shipping quality and claims quota daily review and maintenance of KPIs,
Overall accountability for ensuring the SAP master data required for production and supplier schedules is fully accurate
Safety, Norms and Procedures Management:
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials
Advanced knowledge of the emergency and evacuation plan in the area of responsibility
Advanced knowledge, planning and performing of the safety inspection on lifts, hoists, lifting units, cranes and other specific means of transport of materials
Ensure that fleet vehicles are maintained and driven in accordance with relevant regulations, laws, and standards
Advanced knowledge and evaluation of maintenance interventions in terms of safety - evaluates whether the materials and equipment are in compliance with safety rules
Knowledge and evaluation of observing the norms regarding the waste treatment, storage and disposal and scraps in general.
Education and Experience:
This position requires:
Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management, or other related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of broad experience managing cycle count inventory and tracking status of back order, inventory turns and inventory aging. Preferably in a 24/7 manufacturing environment of Medical Devices, Life Sciences, and/or Pharmaceutical.
Minimum 3 years as a people leader or supervisory capacity. Preferably in a matrixed organization that required influencing without direct authority.
In-depth experience in supply chain operations, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.
Demonstrated expertise in managing teams, working cross-functionally with other departments, and driving cost savings initiatives and process improvements.
Budgetary experience required.
Preferred qualifications include:
Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing knowledge
Desired Master’s degree or certifications -like APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CIPAS
Project Leadership preferred.

$133,800.00 - $220,800.00 USD Annual
