About the Role
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) within the Advanced Development Engineering team is responsible for the successful development of automotive electronic products and leads the cross functional development team from concept to production within project and company mandated targets. The Technical Program Manager is the key interface for all technical/engineering topics including product specification & requirements.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for the product development in an assigned project
Own the product design. Review and approve engineering work products
Develop effort estimates and engineering timing plans per internal and external milestones, expected work products, and product deliveries
Manage and support the definition of requirements, change requests, and unwritten requirements
Review, track, communicate and approve product Verification and Validation test status
Responsible to communicate development status using dashboards, charts and reports to management
Manage engineering risks, report status, prepare contingency and mitigation plans and execute corrective actions
Initiates escalation of unmitigated technical issues to engineering management
Responsible to actively pursue cost savings ideas
Lead and prioritize day-to-day activities of the technical project team
Who we are looking for
Your preferred qualifications
Minimum of 7 years deep and relevant experience in the automotive electronics industry.
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role is required. Leading a global team is a plus
Proven track record of successful launches of automotive products
