Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate and above all fun.About the teamMerchant Services Field Sales Representative will seek and close small opportunities for FIS merchant processing services and ancillary products for small to medium sized businesses across a variety of verticals. Field Rep will also build and foster the relationship with our existing financial institution referral partners in the assigned market. The successful candidate will be comfortable carrying a quota and will have deep sales experience as a merchant level salesperson at an ISO, processor, or other merchant acquiring and/or financial institution commercial, treasury or small business consultant. What you will be doing• Develop and execute strategies for selling services to merchants in assigned territory through a mix of financial institution referrals, regional networking, and regional cold calling•Host trainings, contests, and collaborative selling events at each of the assigned financial institution branches with intent to maximize bank participation in the merchant referral program•Utilizes CRM to provide leadership with a daily account of prospect status, revenue and deal count achievement, partnership and campaign success•Utilizes available resources to ensure merchant is properly set-up on FIS system, processing transactions, and is initially billed according to agreement•Travel: 50% +/- by car and/or air What you bring:•In depth knowledge of merchant services industry and experience selling credit card processing and related software/hardware, reading payment processing statements, and explaining different industry pricing components•Must be self-driven, able to contact and connect with merchants consultatively to sell and close deals, meet and exceed quota•Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal•Requires solid decision-making and problem-solving skills•Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements•Requires an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to adapt to and embrace changeAdded bonus if you have:•Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field•Certified Payments Professional (CPP) a plusWhat we offer you•Competitive salary and excellent bonus potential (upon entering a full sales executive role)•Attractive benefits including private medical cover, dental cover, and travel insurance•A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities - FIS is your final career step!•The chance to work on some of the most challenging, relevant issues in financial services technology•Time to support charities and give back in your community
