McLaren Health Care Executive Assistant - McLaren Careers in Southfield, Michigan

Performs diversified and advanced administrative duties for the assigned Executive(s) and Directors, including drafting correspondence, answering phone calls, distributing mail, and processing expense reimbursement requests.

Follows organizational and department procedures and guidelines.

Provides back-up for other administrative support personnel.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1.

Coordinates efficient functioning of office and administrative support services, makes recommendations regarding improvement of office processes and procedures.

2.

Receives, screens, and transfers telephone calls, messages, and e-mails promptly and courteously.

3.

Opens, prioritizes and distributes mail on a daily basis.

4.

Reviews, prioritizes, drafts, composes and edits correspondence.

Responds to correspondence on executive’s behalf, within scope of responsibility.

5.

Processes bi-weekly payroll and processes expense reimbursement requests

6.

Consistently utilizes appropriate customer service skills.

Develops relationships and maintains rapport with executive leadership employees.

7.

Oversees and assumes responsibility for coordinating miscellaneous projects as requested.

8.

Performs other duties as required or requested.

Required:

1.

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2.

Minimum three to five years of directly related experience.

3.

Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in courteous, tactful and poised manner.

4.

Ability to treat material handled confidentially

5.

Must always use discretion in conversations both at work and outside of the office as not to release confidential information.
