Construction Project Management Practice Administrator

    Make Your Mark. Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), affiliate entity of Plante & Moran, PLLC (PM) provides fully integrated Program Management/Owners Representation and Real Estate Services exclusively to corporations and institutional organizations.

    As the Plante Moran Realpoint Project Management group continues with significant geographical and market growth, we are looking for a dynamic and highly collaborative individual to support the team with technical operational support. This role works directly with the Director of Project Management and will be internally focused as a key resource for our team. Through effective communication and strong problem-solving skills, will assist with the organization, best practices, risk mitigation and cultural development of the group in order to support continued growth. An understanding of the overall capital project development and execution, of the design or construction process is beneficial but not required.

    Your role.

    Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Project Management to provide technical operational support including:

  • Assist in developing and implement practice initiatives including creating processes, executing tasks

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement changes, build consensus and encourage adoption

  • Assist with technology development, implementation and adoption to support key initiatives working with the technology group; focusing on solutions that create ease and process for the team

  • Assist with staffing matters and staff planning (matching project specific needs with talent and skillsets)

  • Support project management team members, as needed, as a technical resource

  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.

  • Help resolve select project-related issues or conflicts

    The qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Design, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Ideal candidate will understand industry processes (construction, building or architecture)

  • Proven experience in project administration or a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Ability to travel within SE Michigan to various client sites with personal vehicle

    Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

    Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

    Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

    Colorado hourly rate range is as follows:

    $70,000.00 to $90,000.00

    We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
