Collision repair methods development includes, but is not limited to, the review and validation of documents regarding vehicle collision repair information through a review process. This position also includes collaborating with engineering personnel to develop Body Repair and Paint procedures on new vehicle designs. In addition, the repair of company vehicle fleets that have sustained damage resulting from a defect in manufacture, workmanship, accident, vandalism or theft is required using OEM parts and OEM approved paint and materials.
Collision repair methods development also includes the testing and validation of new technology in the collision repair industry, including but not limited to, new materials, tools, welding and straightening equipment, and refinish technology.
Collision repair development also includes providing body repair related technical support for SFI investigations, assisting with bulletin development and time studies, facilitating special projects for Brand Quality and Engineering, and validating parts, tools, processes, and systems.
Collision repair methods development also includes test driving vehicles to duplicate concerns and validate repairs. A valid Michigan driver's license is required.
Salary: $Open- per hour (based on level of experience0

Qualifications:
- Collison repair experience
- Must have own tools
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to pass drug and background check
- State of Michigan and/or ASE certification preferred
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
