Terex Corporation Warehouse Equipment Operator - 2nd Shift-REQ-5738 in Southaven, Mississippi
This is a job for a Warehouse Equipment Operator position with a company located in Southaven, MS.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Equipment Operator receives materials, picks and packs customer orders, and processes shipping transactions. May perform inventory control responsibilities and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities: Unloading, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, loading, and inventory transfers. Use Oracle/TMS software via use of PC and or RF mobile equipment. Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas. General housekeeping duties keeping warehouse storage locations, aisles, equipment, staging areas, and workstations neat, organized and 5S. Use of PIT up to 15,000 lbs. in a safe and efficient manner including Sit-down Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Stacker, Electric Pallet Jack, and Work Assist Vehicles. Move materials through facility with use of manually powered carts and fixtures in a safe in and efficient manner. Efficient and timely handling of all materials. Flexibility to work in all areas of the warehouse. Follow Standard Work Procedures. Commitment to safety, quality, inventory control, and the principles of Lean. Escalation of key issues to Supervisor/Manager. Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum 1 year experience with PIT equipment. Current PIT license preferred. Minimum of 1-year previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Ability to learn quickly and work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and ability to work without constant direction. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make timely and independent decisions. Comfortable and experienced working both with PC and RF mobile equipment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Basic Microsoft Office Skills. Requires the ability to lift, pull, push, and guide medium weight objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Requires ambulatory ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, bend, and crawl on a continuous basis. Requires sufficient hand-arm-eye coordination to guide objects into specific placement or alignment, make intricate connections, and make precise measurements. Requires visual acuity to observe moving objects and events, select, and place materials. Requires auditory ability to project voice in a production environment and hear instructions.
The salary range for this position is $21.00 to $26.78 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
