This position is for a Warehouse AX Checker, with a company located in Southaven, Mississippi.
Summary: Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials. Fills requisitions and orders. Packs, crates, and ships products and materials to distribution center, departments, or assembly line. May operate fork lift. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
[]{#_Hlk115416011}Education & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks; ability to maintain certification. Valid Driver's License Skills: Computer literacy to include Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer). Communication Skills -- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization to include customer service, sales, employees and managers. High degree of organizational skills. Regular attendance is essential along with the ability to work daily or weekly overtime as needed. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
