Industrial Controls Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled technician for a direct hire opportunity with a stable, growing manufacturer. This is a 1st shift position paying $30-$36/hr based on experience/interview, overtime available, and provide excellent benefits Approximately 25-35% domestic and local travel required (note: typically 1-2 week stints, possibly 3 weeks. After traveling would likely not again for 4-6 months depending on project needs).
Responsible for reading schematics, building and wiring control panels for custom equipment.
Responsible for the installation, diagnostics, startup, and commissioning of custom test equipment.
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance of existing equipment.
Verifying electrical functionality of assembled machinery.
Work with engineering
Skills:
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
PC and PLC controls
2-5+ years of experience with industrial controls systems
