The Role
As Senior Security Architect and Engineering Manager you will lead a team of information security assurance subject matter experts to engage across technology projects and initiatives to ensure CUK adopts a “Security by Design” approach and security is woven into all of our capabilities from the outset.
We are re-shaping Technology to deliver a new vivid vision for shore-based, shipboard, and cloud-based Technology in Carnival UK by 2025. Transforming from a traditional legacy estate, you will need to demonstrate thought leadership, extensive domain knowledge and practical experience to help the business innovate and deliver an ambitious project stack whilst maintaining the highest levels of security for corporate, employee and guest information.
You will:
Work with the Brand technology teams to update/create control requirements for emerging solutions ensuring that architectural patterns are assessed, tested, and approved by Security before adoption.
Help shape new projects and capabilities adopt secure cloud architectures, implement DevSecOps and consider both IT and OT environments.
Chair the Security Assurance Working Group
Ensure a ‘Security by Design’ approach to the development of solution architectures in specific business, infrastructure, or functional areas.
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK06 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days from home.
About You

Experience in an Information Security or IT Audit related field, including Information governance, risk and compliance, security architecture, application security and cloud
Experience of leading, supporting and guiding teams
Be an effective communicator
