Responsibilities
Lead, train, and supervise the shipping and receiving team.
Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Coordinate with logistics companies and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Ensure internal quality standards and customer specifications.
Resolve discrepancies between packing slips, purchase orders, and actual deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Manage storage space and organization of the warehouse to optimize efficiency.
Communicate with customers regarding shipping schedules, delays, and any issues related to their orders.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
