Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast Fleet Supervisor in South Windsor, Connecticut
- Compensation: $62,000 - $78,000
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm. Mainly will work 1st shift but will have alternating shift rotations on occasion
- Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- 3 - 5 years experience in Fleet Maintenance or related field required
- Previous supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred
- Flexibility and willingness to work "off shift" and on weekends if necessary

Job Description
The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the Fleet Maintenance Department within designated Sales Center facilities. In this role the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all facets of Fleet Operations including asset tracking and maintenance, shop maintenance and parts inventory control, fuel conservation, safety, productivity, environmental management and financial performance. Additionally, the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the management of a team of Fleet Technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of direct reports; ensure team is adequately staffed, managed, trained and evaluated
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs; ensure all maintenance and repairs are performed in a cost-effective manner
- Generate capital refurbishment schedule based on need and available capital funding
- Ensure that all vehicles are appropriately prepared for transfer or disposal as needed
- Ensure proper disposal and documentation of waste stream items
- Ensure accuracy of documentation generated by employees for all maintenance activities
- Manage parts inventory and ensure the shop is stocked appropriately
- Manage within budgetary and operational guidelines
- Ensure fleet is maintained in accordance with establish Federal, State and company standards for safety and compliance
- Maintain and enforce standards of health, safety, hygiene and security
- Make recommendations and implement processes to improve the overall productivity, quality and safety of fleet operations
Job Requirements
Class A Commercial Drivers License
Class A Mechanic Certification preferred
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
Associates degree or higher in Automotive Management, Fleet Operations Management or related field preferred
3-5 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance or related field required
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Extensive automotive and mechanical knowledge required
Knowledge of DOT, MOT and CVIP compliance and PM programs
Basic technical knowledge and working experience with SAP preferred
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
