  • Coordinate with the research Precision Medicine team and Discovery Biomarker functions to ensure coverage of their analytical requests from data generated from Amgen clinical trials and publicly available biomarker and omics datasets

  • Coordinate with other Computational Biology staff to compile analysis results for Discovery Biomarkers

  • Apply computational, biostatistical, machine learning methods and simulations to facilitate high quality reverse translation and further future translation

  • Champion and exemplify the application of knowledge graphs and modern AI/ML (including generative and transfer learning techniques and task-specialization of foundational models) to enable the discovery of new targets, PD biomarkers and patient selection signatures from high-content clinical data

  • Conduct analysis (hands-on) pertaining to assessment of biochemical coverage, patient stratification, indication selection and exploration of mechanism of action through the application of data science, knowledge discovery, and data mining techniques

  • Develop translational informatics analysis workflows in a high-content, multi-omics, multi-modal data domain encompassing genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, epigenomics and spatial-omics

  • Work with biologists, to leverage information on targeted biological pathways along with development of computational algorithms to manage and mine internal and external genomics and other high content databases.
