Our esteemed client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an exceptional Scientist to join their dynamic team.
Pay: $40-$48/hr
Responsibilities
Measure protein concentration using absorbance and calculate dilutions.
Manually aliquot and label purified protein vials for storage.
Support vialing of protein solutions with bio-microlab instruments.
Safely handle OEB4 and OEB5 compounds, following safety protocols.
Prepare solutions and buffers according to SOPs.
Aliquot, label, store samples, and perform basic ADC QC following SOPs.
Handle important, sensitive samples; wet lab experience required.
Protein characterization experience preferred.
Characterize proteins (mAb and ADC) using CE-SDS, Mass Spectrometry, and SEC with training.
Track and document maintenance and instrument repair service calls.
Record data in an electronic lab notebook.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6 years of experience
Master’s or PhD with 2-3 years of experience in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, life sciences, or related fields
Wet lab experience required
Calculate protein concentrations and dilutions
Experience with protein characterization
Experience with Mass Spectrometry (MS)
