Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join our team and help scale our operations from a small workshop to volume production. The successful candidate will own the mechanical assembly of drones, responsible for manufacturing component and system assemblies including motors, drone structures, and sensors. Additionally, the role involves testing aircraft components to ensure quality and functionality.

Hard Skills

  • Assembly experience with hand/power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, calipers/measurement tools)

  • Experience with bonding composites (carbon fiber, epoxies)

  • Basic soldering skills

  • Ability to read and follow SOP’s and non-technical instructions

  • Basic computer skills (MacOS or Microsoft)

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Good judgment

  • Proactivity

  • Strong attention to detail

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in South San Francisco, California.

Work Environment

The role is based in a facility in South San Francisco within a Manufacturing team of 6-10 people. The warehouse is segmented into four areas: Front office, Nest (assembling recovery systems, launch systems, and battery devices), Vehicles (assembling the body of drones, composite work on wing structure), and Logistics. Each team includes 3 to 4 assemblers and a team lead.
