SUMMARY

As a Marketing Associate, you will be part of a dynamic and growing marketing team who helps elevate the lives of animals and their owners. This position will help support a variety of day-to-day tasks, projects, and initiatives for the marketing team while interacting with stakeholders internally and externally. In this role, you’ll showcase your creativity, innovation, and ideation for all things marketing.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned).

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on projects, requests, or support through a variety of activities.

  • Organize promotional activities for new or existing products.

  • Perform analysis and review on competitor products.

  • Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences).

  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.

  • Coordinate product, event, or marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.

  • Grows into the role of subject matter expert with CRM (HubSpot).

    COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, solid presentation skills, and comfortable interacting at all levels of an organization.

  • Very strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence or partnership.

  • Clear-thinker, good listener, externally focused and problem-solver.

  • Established analytical skills and proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and results.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs with high-quality results as the owner and/or co-owner.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or other related field of study required.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a startup or dynamic organization or agency, preferred.

  • Proven experience working in a dynamic start-up environment, a plus.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Normal office environment with regular computer use.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
