Description
We are seeking a Billing Clerk for a role based in South Portland, Maine. This role involves a blend of accounting and customer service tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing billing functions, handling customer claims, and assisting with collection processes. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating actions to collect delinquent payments
• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Office Suites for efficient operation
• Handling billing functions and claim administration tasks
• Participating in collection processes as required
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries related to billing and credit
Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Billing Functions
• Experience in Claim Administration
• Knowledge of Collection Processes
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
