DESCRIPTION OF WORK You will be responsible for performing independent technical and administrative work relative for review, research and preparation for procurement of supplies, materials, commodities and services as necessary for the continued operation of the State operated Restoration Center.

Situated in the beautiful mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center is a Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Home Facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Work hours may change based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years of experience in purchasing work involving contact with vendors in the procurement of a variety of supplies, materials, equipment, or services; or Three years of experience in requisitioning, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventory of goods; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Post-high school education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for purchasing or stores experience to a maximum of two years. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
