Mountain West Montessori Academy Elementary Teacher in SOUTH JORDAN, Utah
A free public charter school located in South Jordan, Utah, is now accepting applications for an Elementary Teacher for the current 2024-2025 school year.
Mountain West Montessori Academy will provide student-centered, individualized education, based on Montessori philosophy and research-based best practices. The educational program will focus on interdisciplinary connections and hands-on learning experiences.
In support of this mission, preference may be given to candidates who have previous Montessori teaching experience, hold Montessori certification, and/or are willing to undergo training to become Montessori certified. Experience working with an assistant teacher is also preferred.
Position requires a valid Utah teaching license in the area of Elementary Education (K-8). Candidates who are Montessori Certified are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
