The Director, Corporate Development and Pricing is a member of the Corporate Development and Strategy team at Cotiviti. This person will be responsible for evaluating strategic partnerships and acquisitions for Cotiviti, as well as identifying and implementing new pricing models and market-driven pricing activities across the product portfolio. This person will identify and evaluate new opportunities, conduct due diligence, and manage cross-functional teams to execute complex projects. They will also collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization to align on priorities and communicate progress and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate new acquisition and partnership opportunities * Conduct market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence to assess the feasibility and value proposition of potential opportunities * Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, finance, legal and technology, to facilitate the diligence and integration of acquisitions * Communicate and present deal rationale, strategy, and results to senior management * Use financial modeling to assess the potential returns and risks of different acquisitions and partnerships * Partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, GTM, and BU to inform new product pricing requirements, and to ensure methodical roll-out of new pricing models * Leverage a wide variety of strategic pricing research methodologies, including but not limited to conjoint analysis, Van Westerndorp price sensitivity analysis and Garbor-Granger pricing methodologies to ensure analytical confidence undergirding all proposed pricing models and levels * Proactively mine external resources for emerging markets and competitive insights to guide product and pricing development * Analyze new sales and renewals trends to understand buyer price sensitivity, buying factors and pricing execution including win/loss analysis, discount trends, etc. in partnership with Finance and Product Marketing * Systematically maintain pricing "hygiene" content and tools such as company pricebook, updated pricing, pricing contract terms, pricing reporting, emerging market insight syntheses, market trend updates, etc. * Evaluate pricing performance (i.e. realized revenue, revenue recognition, competitive benchmarking) * Pricing rationale and sales/renewal support based on Cotiviti's list price

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years total experience, including experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, FPandA, In-House Corporate Strategy and/or Pricing; or 6+ years' experience with a Master's degree
  • Experience with financial modeling and analytics
  • Exceptional presentation skills with ability to synthesize data and concepts to support executive level communications
  • Undergraduate concentration in one of Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related degree desired
  • Healthcare experience preferred, particularly in the payor environment
  • Strong people-influence skills, especially in a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly within a new domain
  • MBA, MPH, or MHA welcomed, but not required Base compensation ranges from $150,000 to $185,000 per year.
