The Field Service Technician is responsible for final assembly, testing/debugging, field installation and service of custom automation machinery. You will also participate in customer product testing, demonstrations, technician education, and final quality control inspection of machinery prior to shipment. You will need to have the ability to travel up to 15-20% domestically and internationally.
What You Will Do:
- Perform machinery installations, service, and warranty claims in a timely manner through direct customer and representative contact.
- Provides technical support to engineering and manufacturing for machinery upgrades and configurations including written documentation of field corrections and problems for their use.
- Perform the testing of product samples supplied by the customer for the purpose of determining equipment compatibility and configuration.
- Perform the final quality and performance testing of machinery.
- You will be involved in the customer contact and assistance during machinery acceptance visits.
