If you Possess a high school diploma, or GED. Are 18 years or older. Can work legally in the US without Visa sponsorship/support. Are open to 12-hour shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime. Have intermediate computer skills. Are willing to comply with site safety policies and procedures. Are able to work in room temperatures of 100?. Are able to engage in high activity tasks including standing, walking, climbing ladder/stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs. (with reasonable accommodations if needed). Have the ability to read and comprehend work instructions, as well as perform simple math problems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the extrusion of films. 3+ years in a manufacturing environment. Fork truck certification. Hoisting and rigging experience. Working knowledge of computer programs and SAP software. As an Extrusion Operator you will? Produce quality materials for customers. Operate, maintain and shut down production equipment (blender, resin dryer, 4.5 extruder, take off power dies, slitter trim winder and film winder). This seems confusing to me ? any suggestions? Keep machine fed with resin mixture by accurately calculating formulation, adding, blending, and drying the batch resin components. Observe and adjust process parameters to ensure proper product specifications. Record and process product information. Test samples, complete order paperwork, and make quality judgments about the film being produced. Maintain equipment, including tear down and reassembly of the extruder screw and die.
