ManpowerGroup Lead CNC Operator in South Bend, Indiana
Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a Lead Machine Operator to join their team. As a Lead Machine Operator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Machining Team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, aligning seamlessly with the organization.
Job Title: Lead Machine Operator
Location: Mishawaka, IN
Pay Range: $20 to $28 per hour, based on experience
What’s the Job?
Lead the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machining equipment.
Utilize years of setup experience to ensure accurate and efficient machine operation.
Apply G-Code programming knowledge to perform minor adjustments and optimizations.
Read and interpret programs to understand any updates.
Utilize expertise in geometric tolerance and aerospace parts programming to maintain high-quality standards and precision.
What’s Needed?
Approximately 10 years of experience in machine setup and operation, though candidates with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Proven experience in the aerospace industry, particularly with aerospace parts.
Strong knowledge of G-Code programming and aerospace parts programming, with the ability to make minor adjustments.
Expertise in geometric tolerance and its application in machining processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
