Robert Half Human Resources Generalist in Sonoma, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the wine industry in Sonoma, California, for a diligent Human Resources (HR) Assistant. This role will play a pivotal part in managing our company's most valuable resource, our employees, through strategic and functional responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with our overall business strategy

• Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, and motivation of human personnel

• Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

• Reporting on and managing recruitment and selection processes

• Conducting onboarding and training procedures

• Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management and staying up-to-date with the latest HR federal and state laws

• Developing and administering compensation and benefits plans

• Addressing employee grievances and solving problems to maintain overall employee job satisfaction

• Promoting a positive and open work environment where every employee feels comfortable, respected, and listened to

Key skills:

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time

• Experience in Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources (HR) within the wine industry

• Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is essential

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is crucial

• Familiarity with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software is required

• Must have experience with Benefit Functions

• Proficiency in Compensation Administration is necessary

• Knowledge and understanding of Compliance within the HR field is needed

• Must have experience in handling Employee Relations

• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the specified location

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
