We offer thorough on-site evaluations with detailed, budget-conscious recommendations that consider existing conditions, local building codes, and future property plans-giving you the insights needed to make the best decision for your roof.The Operations/Production Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the roofing operations of the company. Position is responsible for ensuring and improving performance, productivity, efficiency, safety, and profitability of all roofing operations through the provision of effective methods & strategies.

• Works with operations staff, developing schedules and overseeing all aspects of construction.
• Communicates directives to Superintendents who then relay to Foreman for successfully completion of contracts.
• Manage quality control and safety of projects.
• Reviews purchase orders and proposals to verify intended scope of work and to assure thatcompany policies are not compromised.
• Submits budget and capital expenditure requests as needed.
• Works with prime and subcontractors on all phases of projects including schedules, change orders, and submittals.
• Directs customer questions, complaints, and requests appropriately. Performs field inspections and investigations as necessary.
• Communicates, monitors, and facilitates information between the department and accounting
• Liaison with top management. Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
• Provide support to the Fleet mechanic and oversee the repairs of the entire fleet of vehicles, tools and machines.
• Attend all Pre-Construction Meetings.

Requirements:

• Five years minimum of commercial roofing industry experience in management is preferred with emphasis on all facets of the business including but not limited to customer relations, extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and requirements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Satisfactory computer skills - including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Internet.
• Other critical skills include planning & organizing; problem identification/resolution, multi-tasking, follow-through skills to bring tasks to closure in a timely manner, priority setting, and having a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner. Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate well both written and orally simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts.

Salary $80-100K + Bonus
