Summary
Under the supervision of the manager performs various housekeeping functions including: soiled linen, handling and pick up, hard floor care, carpet care, wall cleaning, stairwell cleaning and equipment cleaning.
Responsibilities
• Clean patient rooms using the 7 steps of cleaning method
• Perform hard floor care and utilizes approved floor care procedures.
• Uses proper technique for terminal cleaning in the Operating Room.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care, utilizing approved carpet and upholstery care standard procedures.
Qualifications
High school/GED
6 months experience is required; 1 year preferred.
Must be able to read and write English and follow simple instructions.
